1. Mission
To provide information and resources to Gippsland employers, employees and the wider community that will assist them to comply with and raise awareness in relation to OH&S Acts, Regulations, other Legislation and relevant Technical documents such as Codes of Practice, Australian Standards etc.
2. Direction

Provide information on Health, Safety and Environmental matters through Seminars, media releases, information forums, sub-committees etc

Endeavour to provide four seminars per year (in the form of Breakfast meetings)

Seek feedback from each meeting in order to improve the quality of the presentations

Distribute a survey document at least one meeting per year, to establish the items of discussion/presentation for subsequent meetings

Use the results of the surveys to plan the coming year's events
3. Goals
- Keep in touch with relevant types of Health, Safety and Environmental issues in the community in an endeavour to reduce the incidence of accidents
- Maintain a positive relationship with the Victorian Workcover Authority
- Provide presentations of high quality that deliver information to participants based on survey results, written responses and changes in legislation
- Presenters to be encouraged to use case studies where practicable
- Maintain a membership register which is available to members upon request
- Network Steering Committee to use media to promote Health, Safety and Environment in the community where practicable
- Endeavour to obtain sponsors for all seminars to enable the continuation of cost-free seminars
