Non-Network Safety Events

From time to time, organisations other than the two safety networks will hold events that may be of interest to safety.gippsland.com users.  This page aims to publicise those events.

Safety In Action 2009

The annual Safety In Action and Materials & Manual Handling Trade Show will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre over the period 31 March - 2 April 2009.   The trade show will feature around 320 exhibitors showing the best of safety and materials handling products and services from around the country. Entry is free, although registration is required.

In addition to the free trade show, the concurrent Safety In Action Conference is the premier OHS conference in this state.  The conference is organised by the Safety Insititute of Australia (Victoria Division) Inc, and over 100 Australian and international speakers will  present in a number of separate streams over the three days.  Attendees can register for one, two or all three days, with other optional social (and important networking) activities.
